Myra & Van Williams Spark Lab

Kids in grades 3-5 imagine an original shop inspired by artist Barbara DiLorenzo's "Places We Shop - Princeton" series, then build it over three sessions as a detailed diorama. Registration required.

What kind of shop would you create if anything were possible? A bookstore with a cat café? A spa for chickens? A bakery run by dragons? Inspired by Barbara DiLorenzo's "Places We Shop – Princeton" series, young artists will use a variety of materials to create signs, shelves, products, decorations and more. On the final day, family and friends are invited to a reception and student showcase. 

This three-day workshop is for kids in third, fourth and fifth grades, and registration is required. Register only if you can commit to attending all three sessions.

Workshop dates are: Monday, July 27; Tuesday, July 28; and Thursday, July 30. 

This program is led by the library's artist-in-residence, Barbara DiLorenzo. Read more about Barbara DiLorenzo.
