This free, 13-week course is for those at an Intermediate level. English skills are required and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Limited space, please read full registration details.

This course, presented in partnership with LiteracyNJ, runs weekly on Thursdays from September 17 through December 17. This course is for Intermediate level learners and will focus on building reading, writing, and speaking skills. Students must have English reading, writing and speaking skills to enroll and are expected to attend all 12 sessions. Topics to be covered include: providing personal information, family relationships, filling out forms, locations and directions, clothes and colors, shopping and money, reading and writing checks, and reading receipts. An assessment will be given to ensure that all enrolled students will benefit from the course.
