The Creatures of Princeton University History Walk

Library staff lead this walk highlighting the history of some of the notable creatures that can be found on Princeton's campus. Meet at FitzRandolph Gate. Register for one of two tour times.

Discover the tigers and many other creatures hidden on Princeton University's campus in various historical, artistic, and architectural features. Led by librarians Dana Treichler and Nora Walsh. 

Registrants should meet the tour guides at FitzRandolph Gate. There are two tours scheduled:

Oct. 10, 2026 departing promptly at 11:30 a.m. 

Oct. 10, 2026 departing promptly at 2 p.m.

Attendees should register for one tour time and register each member of your party. 

In the event of inclement weather, the tours will be rescheduled to Oct. 11. All registrants will be notified.
