This group meets weekly between June 2 and Sept. 1 to discuss readings from fundamental texts in political theory, philosophy and literature, focusing on revolution. This summer, the group will focus on the 12 books of John Milton's "Paradise Lost" (1674 edition).
This is a hybrid online/in-person course offered in partnership with the Catherine Project. Readers in the Princeton area are encouraged to attend the meetings in person at the library. Registration is managed by the Catherine Project; please send an email requesting a seat to study@catherineproject.org. Rolling admission to the course is offered to those on the waiting list as seats become available.
Limited copies of the selected titles are available from the library.
