A reading of "Waiting for Biblioburro" by Monica Brown is followed by a fun, interactive cooking class featuring recipes related to the book. For grades K-2. Registration required.

During Cooks + Books sessions, young chefs explore new flavors, try out simple cooking skills and create globally inspired, nut-free, allergy-friendly dishes while learning about nutrition, kitchen safety, math and world cultures.

This session's recipes are Ana's Cheesy Pea and Corn Arepas and Mama's Garden Pea Guacamole. Cooks + Books is presented by Sticky Fingers Cooking, Central New Jersey.
