Tower RoomWriters working on long-form projects are invited to submit their work in advance of these monthly sessions where group members will help each other develop their work through constructive criticism.
Submit your work to kdorman@princetonlibrary.org a week in advance of the sessions which are held on the first Sunday of the month.
Submission Guidelines:
This group is intended for writers working to achieve a long-form project at a publishable standard.
The group is best able to give feedback on works with a relatively broad appeal: Works with a broader appeal or intended audience may be given preference.
Submissions will be considered from authors who have attended a previous session.
Feedback will be offered in person. Chosen authors who are unable to attend should let us know as soon as possible so that others may be given an opportunity.
Please proofread prior to submission to avoid the distraction of typos or errors.
Submitted pieces may be up to 6,000 words in length.
Works may not be written or translated by AI/Large Language Model, or someone other than the author.
At the top of your submission, please include: your name, literary form or type of work (novel, memoir, short story, etc.), and where it falls in the work, if applicable (first chapter, first half, etc.).
Each submitted piece should stand on its own, without additional notes, so that the group responds solely to what the writer has committed to the page.
