Retreat: "Marine Field Station" (10 minutes)
Nestled in New Jersey's coastal marshes, a fabled research center has quietly tracked the marine life nearby. Now with water levels rising around them, these scientists face a new and unnerving subject to study: themselves.
"Python Huntress" (14 minutes)
Python Huntress follows environmentalist and self-described python elimination specialist Donna Kalil, who spends her nights on “python patrol” in the Florida Everglades searching for invasive Burmese pythons. Originally imported as exotic pets, the snakes have since become apex predators in the region, growing up to 19 feet in length and devastating native wildlife populations, including the loss of an estimated 98 percent of mammals. Through Donna’s eyes, the film examines the python epidemic gripping the Everglades and the physical and emotional toll of a job defined by moral tension—where protecting a fragile ecosystem requires acts that do not come easily, even to those most committed to its preservation.
"Behind" (1 minute)
After disasters, creatures leave their homes in search of anew life. It is a long and exhausting process undertaken by all beings together. However, migration is not an option for everyone
"Made in China" (3 minutes)
While browsing on the internet, a fashionable fox spots a stunning blouse that immediately catches his eye. Without hesitation, he places an order. Days go by as he waits impatiently for the package to arrive. Alongside the protagonist, we follow the package's journey-a voyage that feels like it lasts an eternity.
Will the package reach its destination, and if it does, what awaits at the end of its journey
"Pig" (8 minutes)
A group of animals hook up a power grid to the socket-shaped snout of one big, sleeping pig. The animals use the pig’s energy for simple things at first, but soon they render themselves dependent on a city where every single thing - the useful and the useless - is automated… How long can that last?
