Tower RoomThis weekly book discussion series examines fundamental texts in political theory, focusing on the theme of revolution. Online and in person.
This group meets weekly between Jan. 20 and April 21 to discuss readings from fundamental texts in history and political theory, focusing particularly upon revolution. Selected readings include Burke's "Reflections on the Revolution in France," Wollstonecraft's "A Vindication of the Rights of Men" and Paine's "Rights of Man." The group has a planned break during the first two weeks of March.
This is a hybrid online/in-person course offered in partnership with the Catherine Project. Readers in the Princeton area are encouraged to attend the meetings in person at the library. Registration is managed by the Catherine Project through the linked form until the course fills. From there rolling admission is offered to those on the waiting list as seats among the group come available.
Limited copies of the selected titles are available for borrowing from the library.
