Tech CenterThis class introduces beginners to the industry-standard tool for video compositing, motion graphics design, and animation.
Adobe After Effects is the preeminent special effects compositing tool for non-linear and post production animation. Attendees will learn the interface, file, importing, and manipulation, key framing and layer management. and the basic fundamental techniques for animating files overtime. The class will cover video, graphic, and text manipulation and discuss some of the many transitions and special filters that are available for creating special-effects. Time permitting, attendees will create a quick opening motion-graphic, titling sequence which can be used as an Intro to a photo, slideshow, or iPhone home video. Familiarity with animation or video related software helpful, but not essential. Instructor: Raymond DeVoe
