Princeton Public Library joins libraries, schools and nonprofits across the Garden State for a celebration of the 8th Annual NJ Makers Day.
Take and Make kits for various ages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For kids: Make Your Own Catapult and DIY Balancing Robot
For teens: LED Light-Up Card
2-4 p.m. — Learn about and explore items focused on content creation that are available to borrow from our Library of Things collection. The CreativeBug database will also be featured and Take and Make kits for adults to create their own macramé keychain will be available. Location: Cafe area.
2:30-4 p.m. — Self-guided engineering-related activities on the third floor.
For additional maker activities for kids, tune into Lit Lab. Each Lit Lab includes a book read-aloud and related maker activity to do at home, plus a curated list of additional books, media and maker activities on the same theme. We also encourage families to share their own inspired creations by sending photos to kids@princetonlibrary.org or tagging @princetonpl on Instagram or Twitter.
