Following a screening of "Come See Me in the Good Light," the poetry performance group presents poetry readings in response to themes from the film.
No River Twice is a group of poets who offer poetry readings during which audiences and poets actively interact, poem by poem, to decide the direction of the performance from beginning to end, co-creating a reading that is never the same twice: "We don't improvise poems, just everything else. Selections, themes and tone are a surprise and discovery to all of us. And we make a poem of it!"
"Come See Me in the Good Light" will be screened at 5 p.m.
For more poetry programming, see the digital brochure for "Verse and Voice: A Festival of Poetry" taking place from April 18-May 4 at the library.
