The ensemble presents a free, open rehearsal of a program featuring compositions for string quartet by living female composers.

In advance of the ensemble's March 6 concert in Solebury, Pennsylvania, the Concordia Chamber Players invite the community to a free, open rehearsal.

In celebration of International Women's Day, the program features compositions by living female composers, including Caroline Shaw’s "Ritornello – 2.sq.2.j.a," Lisa Bielawa’s "Trojan Women – Hecuba and Cassandra," Jennifer Higdon’s "Quiet Art from Impressions for String Quartet" and Gabriela Lena Frank’s "Leyendas."

The performers are: Gabriela Diaz, Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu, and Ayane Kozasa, violin, and Michelle Djokic, cello.
