Kornacki has worked the big board on election nights at MSNBC since 2014, earning increasing accolades for his analysis of local voting patterns in primary elections and national election swing states. He began his journalism career in 2002 at PoliticsNJ.com and covered New Jersey statehouse politics for that site and the News 12 New Jersey. He has written for all of the major New York newspapers, in addition to The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and The Daily Beast. He is the former politics editor of Slate. In November, Kornacki was named one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive.
