Learn the foundations of digital oral history from library staff involved with the Voices of Princeton initiative. For beginners and experienced participants.
The third part of a three-part series, “Processing Interviews and Creating Access” covers digital oral history tools. Topics include software for editing audio files; generating, editing and proofing transcriptions; and for hosting oral history projects on the web.
Ways in which community members may participate in Voices of Princeton's special projects for the U.S. Semiquincentennial will also be highlighted.
This workshop may be pursued on its own or as part of the series. As computers in the Technology Center are limited to 12, participants may bring their own laptop or mobile device.
Each workshop will be offered in an afternoon and evening session.
