Conference Room

This free, 13-week course is for those at a high-beginner level. Basic English skills are required and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Registration is required.

This course, held in partnership with LiteracyNJ, runs weekly on Mondays from Sept. 15 through Dec. 8 and will focus on building reading, writing, and speaking skills at a high-beginner level. Students must already have basic English reading, writing and speaking skills and are expected to attend all 13 sessions. Topics will include: providing personal information, family relationships, filling out forms, locations and directions, clothes and colors, shopping and money, reading and writing checks, and reading receipts. Enrolled students will be given an assessment to ensure they will benefit from the course. Register here.
