Community RoomLearn. Explore. Play! In this family-oriented multilingual program, explore materials science with Princeton University researchers.
With many table-top activities, participants of all ages interact with scientists and engineers who study and manipulate materials. Join us and discover what Princeton University scientists are doing with polymers, crystals, electronic devices, computers, and much more! Also, learn about the exciting new research in materials science and engineering. Engage the scientists and engineers, ask plenty of questions, and have fun with the entire family. The researchers and volunteers are excited to have fun, engaging science conversations in various languages (English, Spanish, French … to name a few!)
For all ages, K-12 students and families.
Co-presented with the Princeton Center for Complex Materials. The World of Materials Science Day continues PCCM’s longstanding commitment to engage with the public in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This event is an expansion of the previous Día de la Ciencia program.
