Elementary age participants join a four-week course introducing the Latin language and Roman culture through interactive learning and games.
Volunteer mentors join the principal instructor for a fun, student-centred course, designed to introduce Latin language study and Roman culture as a resource for promoting literacy.
Elementary age learners have an opportunity to study Latin through "Teaching Literacy with Latin," while middle schoolers and young adults have opportunities through "Elementa" and "Living Latin" respectively. Mature learners interested in studying Latin should contact the principal instructor by email: humanities@princetonlibrary.org.
Check out the Paideia Institute's webpage on the "Aequora" curriculum for more information on the course.
