This 60th anniversary tribute to The Beatles' first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" features the bands of The Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The Beatles' live performance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" on Feb. 9, 1964, marked the band's first appearance on U.S. soil and was seen by more than 73 million viewers. The appearance is regarded as a cultural watershed which launched "Beatlemania" and inspired many young viewers to become rock musicians. This 60th Anniversary Tribute Show includes over 20 Beatles classics as well as some soulful tunes performed by other '60s stars who made appearances on the show during that same era.
Featured bands are: Joy & Rob with The Beagles; The Rebound; The FreeBees; Olive Joseph and The EAMC All Stars.
