An opportunity to listen and reflect on the words and vision of Malcolm X.
The annual African American Read-In, held in conjunction with Princeton Public Schools, returns to the library this year by centering the words and vision of Malcolm X, with a special focus on The Autobiography of Malcolm X and the Oxford Union Debate of 1964.
February 21 marks the day of Malcolm X's assassination in 1965. This informal drop-in event will be followed in May by a panel discussion with Associate Professor Saladin Ambar and community leaders.
The presentation is an approximately 30 minute slideshow with videos that will loop from 3pm to 5pm.
This event is an in person, drop in program. No registration required.
