Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day and Jubilee Day, is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Watch Talking About Juneteenth on the library's YouTube channel. This video features Princeton community leaders and historian Dawn Wisteria Bates talking about the history of Juneteenth and its significance in the ongoing struggle for true freedom and equality for Black Americans.
