The library and Princeton Public Schools host Community Read forums where students, parents and other community members discuss books related to social justice and the Black experience in America.
Princeton community members and students come together to discuss books that were part of the library's the 2020 Summer Reading program, listed below. Each was selected for its focus on social justice and the Black experience in America.
The discussion groups are an opportunity for students, parents, teachers, administrators and community members to read together, to reflect on information and stories, and to imagine ways of being that value diversity. The groups will be hosted by alumni of Princeton High School’s Racial Literacy and Justice class and Princeton Public School teachers, librarians and administrators.
