In this animated fantasy-drama, based on the story of the origin of the Book of Kells, a young boy must brave an enchanted forest to complete work on a legendary book. 1 hour, 15 minutes.

Bewitching and beautiful, this debut animated fairy tale from Tomm Moore ("Song of the Sea," "Wolfwalkers"), inspired by the ninth century Celtic artifact “The Book of Kells,” The Secret of Kells, is a magical experience on the big screen. Runtime: 75 minutes, 2009.

Limited free tickets for library cardholders will be available at the third floor Youth Services desk one week prior to the movie screening date.

Limit: two tickets per library cardholder. Limited number of tickets available.

Tickets for Family Matinee series screenings are $5 for children and adults and are free for members of the Princeton Garden Theatre. For information about additional family matinee screenings, visit https://princetongardentheatre.org/family
