Complete a jigsaw puzzle with friends and family in a fun tournament to celebrate National Puzzle Day.

Each year on Jan. 29, National Puzzle Day recognizes the importance of exercising our brains with puzzles. Take part in this jigsaw puzzle tournament held in advance of the official day and then return to the library on Monday, Jan. 29  to pick up a puzzle packet that will include crosswords, word searches, brain teasers, Sudoku and more. Packets will be handed out at the first floor Welcome Desk. 

Teams of up to five players are invited to show off their jigsaw puzzle skills at this tournament for ages 16 and up. 

  • Each team will be assigned a table with a 1000 piece puzzle to be opened when the tournament begins (puzzles will be from the same manufacturer)
  • The first team to finish their puzzle wins; if no one finishes, the winning team will be the one with the fewest number of puzzle pieces left
  • Prizes will be given to the first-place team
  • All participants will be entered in a raffle to win additional prizes
  • Register your team, or register as an individual to be assigned to a team on the day of the event, by filling out this form.

Please note: Registration is limited to eight teams (40 people).
