Stop by the third floor Youth Services Dept. for a kit to make a color-viewing "camera" and Color Walk instructions while supplies last.
Take your finished camera on a leisurely family "color walk" to search for things in different colors.
Color Walks are a simple way to relax, reset, and connect with your surroundings. Start by choosing a single color then step outside and search for it everywhere: in nature, in buildings, nearby details, and distant views. As you walk, stay open to surprises you might notice things you've never seen before. Look through your camera to see how your chosen color shifts and changes your surroundings.
