The Python Bootcamp is a beginner-friendly series designed to introduce the fundamentals of Python programming to middle school students through interactive lessons, exercises, and project creations. At the end of the week-long series, students should be able to write Python code with appropriate coding conventions and syntax, use basic data types, perform arithmetic and logical operations, apply conditional statements, control loops, define functions, use built-in functions, understand Python packages, interpret error messages and apply debugging techniques, and develop programs that achieve specific goals. Led by a Princeton High School student.
Registration required (limited to 12), and participants should attend all five sessions of the camp: Monday, July 28, to Friday, Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to noon.
