All ages are encouraged to join us at Rogers Refuge on West Drive to participate in guided nature walks and collect data to support Princeton's Environmental Resource Inventory. Registration required.
Guided tours of the refuge led by the Friends of Rogers Refuge will leave on the hour starting at 8am until 11am.
A limited number of the library's Nature Explorer Backpacks that include binoculars, magnifying glasses and more for adults and children will be available. Participants may also bring their own backpack.
Data will be collected using the iNaturalist app.
Parking is limited; participants are encouraged to walk or bike to the event, wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Water and snacks will be provided; reusable water bottles are encouraged.
This event was made possible by the partners as well as a generous donation made in the name of Cole Morano.
Presented in collaboration with Friends of Rogers Refuge and the Princeton Environmental Commission.
