Learn English at the Library (Intermediate Level)

This free, 12-week course is for English language learners at an intermediate level. Registration is required and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Registration is closed.

This course, presented in partnership with LiteracyNJ, runs weekly on Thursdays from Sept. 18 to Dec. 11 and will focus on building reading, writing, and speaking skills at an intermediate level. Students must have English reading, writing and speaking skills to enroll and are expected to attend all 12 sessions. Topics to be covered include: providing personal information, family relationships, filling out forms, locations and directions, clothes and colors, shopping and money, reading and writing checks, and reading receipts. An assessment will be given to ensure that all enrolled students will benefit from the course. Registration is closed as the class is full.
