Experts discuss the state of clean energy in New Jersey including key developments, challenges, and opportunities shaping New Jersey’s clean energy future.

This event will be in person and will also be livestreamed to the library's YouTube channel.

Join us for an insightful discussion on the state of clean energy in New Jersey. As the state continues to lead initiatives in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and climate action, this event will explore key developments, challenges, and opportunities shaping New Jersey’s clean energy future.

Expert speakers, Veronique Oomen and Abraham Silverman, will cover critical topics such as New Jersey’s ambitious clean energy goals, the role of solar, wind and other renewables, and the impact of recent legislation and funding on the energy sector. Attendees will gain valuable insights into how local communities, businesses and policymakers collaborate to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability.

Topics include:

  • Overview of New Jersey’s clean energy policies and targets
  • Innovations in renewable energy technology
  • The economic and environmental benefits of transitioning to clean energy
