Princeton Public Library -

Usher in the spirit of the season by participating in the eighth annual community reading of Charles Dickens' 1843 novella with our partners at McCarter Theatre Center.

Experience the beloved Victorian masterpiece and "original ghost story" which Dickens wrote to be read aloud, in its literary form.

We will meet in person to read the entire story from start to finish in the Community Room. All are invited and encouraged to attend — individuals, families, book clubs and groups — and to participate by reading a portion of the book. All reading levels are welcome.

Readers are invited to sign up for a time slot online or by calling the library’s Information Desk at (609) 924-9529, ext. 1220. Drop-in readers are also welcome to come by at any time to join in.

Festive attired encouraged, but not required. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served.

Presented in partnership with McCarter Theatre Center.
