Learn about the work of the League of Women Voters of Greater Princeton and potential volunteer opportunities.
From LWV Princeton:
The League of Women Voters of the Greater Princeton Area currently has members
from Princeton, Cranbury, East Windsor, Hightstown, Montgomery, Plainsboro,
Robbinsville, Rocky Hill, South Brunswick, and West Windsor. The LWV is a
nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active
participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public
policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The
League is non-partisan in that it never supports or opposes candidates for public
office or political parties.
We hope you will join us! Membership in the LWV is open to people 16 years and
older of all gender identities. We have in the past year compiled online guides to
voting through VOTE411.org , organized several local candidate forums, promoted
voter registration at many community events, offered community/education forums
including the free Energizing Young Voters program, and acted on issues
pertaining to Central New Jerseyans.
