Using flashbacks from a statement recorded late in his life and archival footage, this 2008 biographical film traces Harvey Milk's career from his 40th birthday to his death. Featuring Sean Penn in his Oscar-winning performance.
Andrew Reynolds, the author of "The Children of Harvey Milk: How LGBTQ Politicians Changed the World," will be in attendance and give remarks in advance of the film.
Presented in partnership with the Princeton Festival and the Princeton Festival Guild in advance of their upcoming production on June 22 and 23 of the musical theater oratorio "I Am Harvey Milk." R. 2 hours, 8 minutes.
