Cantankerous widower Otto spends his days critiquing his bemused neighbors. When a boisterous young family moves into the house next door, his sour personality and negative ideals are challenged. Otto then finds unexpected kinship with the family that turns the tide in his lonely life. Based on the novel by Fredrik Backman.
