Participants 12 and older are invited to create their own 2D masking tape masterpiece using the works of Katelyn Liepins as inspiration. Registration required.
During this workshop, participants will learn about the artist's process. Concepts of shape, line, pattern, geometry, mathematics and color will be explored.
A class for ages 8-11 will be held at 1 p.m. Details at this link.
Liepins' work is on display on the second floor of the library through March 25 in an exhibit called "In Between Doodles." An artist meet-and-greet will take place at 4 p.m.
About the Instructor:
Katelyn Liepins is a professional artist and art educator who exhibits her artwork locally and nationwide. She received her degree in art education from The College of New Jersey has taught art for more than six years in settings including public schools, private schools, museums and one-on-one private classes.
