McCarter Theatre Center Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen shares directorial details on the season-opening production of Sarah DeLappe's Pulitzer-prize finalist play "The Wolves."
Rasmussen will talk about her special relationship to the timely drama that centers around an elite high-school girls’ indoor soccer team and her collaborative process with the production’s all-female design team.
She will be joined by cast member Katharine Powell Roman who is a psychotherapist in Princeton in addition to being a professional actor. The two will discuss the play’s unique dramaturgy, as well as its powerful exploration of adolescence and the hearts, minds, and energies of young women. They will also share stories from the rehearsal room of of the remarkably kinetic play which features an ensemble of tour-de-force young actors.
The conversation will be moderated by McCarter Artistic Engagement Manager Paula Alekson and will include a Q&A with the audience.
