The Ragtime Relics bring their signature brand of American roots music to Hinds Plaza to kick off the spring 2022 edition of the library's popular Listen Local Series.
The Ragtime Relics have been delighting area audiences with vintage American music since 2011. The group’s songs span several 20th century decades and musical genres, including the ragtime era, jazz age, swing era, pre-war blues, country and early rock and roll. They frequently perform at area wineries, coffee houses, farmers’ markets, ice cream parlors and other venues. They have performed multiple times as part of the library's "Listen Local" series.
The quartet is led by founder, Karl Dentino on fingerstyle guitar, vocals and harmonica. It features Bo Child on mandolin and vocals, Jennifer Jang on upright bass and Brian Yank on fiddle, guitar and vocals.
In the event of rain, the concert will move inside to the Community Room.
