Grab your needles and join us for some knitting fun to commemorate World Wide Knit In Public Day.
We can't gather on the plaza to "Knit In Public" like we normally do on World Wide Knit in Public Day, but we can still celebrate the joy of knitting together in a virtual way — and knit outside on our own porches or patios if weather permits. Grab your needles and yarn and knit along with us at this event. There are two ways to participate — do one or do both from wherever you are!
1. We want to see you knitting in place! Tag @princetonpl in your Instagram posts or stories on June 13 and use #knitinplaceppl so we can gather them all. You can also post your photo on our PPL Buzz Facebook page. Not on social media? Email your photo to refstaff@princetonlibrary.org and we'll share it on one of our platforms.
2. Join us for an hour of knitting and chatting on Google Meet at 11 a.m. Make a cup of tea, log on to your laptop and knit together from wherever you may be. Registration is required so we can send you the link to log in.
