Financial Empowerment Program

Take control of your financial future and gain tools to build the life you deserve. Sponsored by the Municipality of Princeton.

Highlights for this 8-series, monthly program include one-on-one coaching; credit mastery & debt management; homeownership & investment guidance; tax & legal planning; and insurance essentials. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, have Princeton residency and possess low to moderate income.  Sign up to indicate your interest by completing this form.

Program dates: Feb.2, Mar.10, Apr.14, May, 12, Jun.9, Jul.14, Aug.11, and Sep.15.

From the instructor: Wayne Slappy is a licensed investment advisor with more than 23 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management. After 12 years in leadership roles at Bank of America and Citibank, he founded Steel Peak Wealth Management, where he serves clients through a holistic, education-focused approach. In addition to his advisory work, Wayne is a certified financial literacy instructor and the founder of Severino Slappy Consulting, Inc. He partners with nonprofits, universities and community organizations to provide financial education, particularly to underserved communities. Wayne is active in local chambers of commerce and community organizations. He is committed to expanding access to financial knowledge and resources.
