Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is an annual day of volunteering that honors Dr. King's legacy of service and social justice. It is the only federal holiday designated as a "day on, not a day off," where people are encouraged to participate in volunteer projects and acts of kindness to benefit their communities.
The Student Activism Kits are created by teen volunteers through SOL, a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging youth volunteering through Service, Outreach, and Leadership. The kits include tools to inspire you to become a change-maker in your community.
