Community RoomThe library joins in the annual celebration of Pi Day and Albert Einstein's birth with a variety of activities. Registration required for some events.
Einstein was born on March 14 — 3.14 — the numeric equivalent of Pi. Activities take place throughout Princeton with the following events held at the library:
- 11 a.m. - Einstein Look-A-Like Contest with the Princeton Tour Company - Community Room
- Noon - Pi Recitation Contest with the Princeton Tour Company - Community Room followed by "Pi-rade on Hinds Plaza
- 1 p.m. - Hands-on activities, puzzles and crafts with PPL staff - Third Floor Pop-up Programming Area
- 1 p.m. - "Ask the Physicist" and "ferro fluid" with the Princeton Einstein Museum of Science - Third Floor
- 1:30 p.m. - Einstein Storytime with the Historical Society of Princeton - Story Room
- 3:30 p.m. - "That Physics Show: with Dave Maiullo of Rutgers University - Community Room
