This interactive, musical experience presents the amazing impact of African American rhythms on American music and history.

A Journey Through African American Music is a 45 minute storytelling/musical experience presented by Yearning To Learn about the inception of African American music and its transformation through the growth of America. This presentation includes music, storytelling and audience participation and important instrumentation including the all powerful drum.
