Public Speaking and Debate Camp is a one-week program where rising sixth- to ninth-graders will learn the basics of debate and public speaking under the guidance of experienced student debaters. Both novice and experienced debaters are welcome to sign up. Students will learn research and analytical skills that will extend far beyond debate and help them in future class presentations and essay writings.
Participation is limited to 20 students who are expected to attend all five sessions. Zoom link and password will be sent to those who register. You do not need a library card to register for this camp.
