A discussion of Dalia Sofer's bestselling novel "The Septembers of Shiraz" is held on Zoom in advance of Princeton University Concerts' Feb. 12 event with Iranian musician Kayhan Kalhor.

"The Septembers of Shiraz" will also be discussed on Zoom at 7 p.m.

Discussions will culminate in a keynote Zoom event on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m., with Deborah Amos, international correspondent for National Public Radio, whose reporting on the Middle East and refugees in the U.S. is regularly featured on NPR. Healing with Music Book Group participants will be automatically registered for the keynote and will have the opportunity to pre-submit questions to Deborah Amos.

Presented in partnership with Princeton University Concerts in advance of the "Healing with Music" performance on Feb. 12, 2025 featuring renowned Iranian musician Kayhan Kalhor.

"The Septembers of Shiraz" is available at the library and via Hoopla.
