Marina Carreira (she/they) is a queer Luso-American poet artist from Newark, NJ. She is the author of "Tanto Tanto" (Cavankerry Press, 2022) and "Save the Bathwater" (Get Fresh Books, 2018). She has exhibited her art at Morris Museum, ArtFront Galleries, West Orange Arts Council, Monmouth University Center for the Arts, among others. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and is pursuing a D.Litt. in Fine Arts and Media. Keep up with her at hellomarinacarreira.com.
Sarah Matthes is a poet from central New Jersey. Her debut collection of poetry, "Town Crier" (Persea, 2021), won the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize and was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. She has received support for her work from the Yiddish Book Center and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Selected poems have appeared or are forthcoming with BOAAT, Pleiades, The Iowa Review, jubilat, Black Warrior Review, Midst, and elsewhere. A graduate of Yale and the Michener Center for Writers, she lives in Austin, TX, where she serves as the managing editor of Bat City Review.
