This hybrid book group meets monthly through 2025 to examine fundamental texts in philosophy and political theory focusing upon justice. Established in partnership with the Catherine Project.
The group will meet at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month to discuss readings from fundamental texts in philosophy and political theory, focusing particularly upon the theme of justice. Selected readings come from Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Mill, and Rawls and others.
This is a hybrid online/in-person course offered in partnership with the Catherine Project. Readers in the Princeton area are encouraged to attend the meetings in person at the library and should register for the series through the events calendar.
Registration will be managed by the Catherine Project through the linked form and an initial group will be selected by 3/31. From there rolling admission will be offered as seats among the group come available.
Limited copies of the selected titles are available for borrowing from the library.
