All are invited to color drawings of monuments and artifacts drafted by archaeologist and Princeton professor Howard Crosby Butler (1872-1922).
The pen and ink drawings are of monuments and artifacts drafted by Butler during his expeditions to Sardis and Greece. Participants are encouraged to share their completed works of art on social media, tagging Princeton University's Department of Art and Archaeology (@artandarchaeologyprinceton), the AIA (#IAD2023), and the library (@PrincetonPL).
Co-sponsored by the Visual Resources division of Princeton University's Department of Art and Archaeology and the Archaeological Institute of America.
