In advance of the Princeton French Film Festival's opening night screening of "The Braid," a discussion of Laetitia Colombani's international bestseller, on which the film is based, is held.
Since its original publication in 2017, "The Braid" (French: La Tresse) became a highly-acclaimed novel translated into numerous languages and read by millions worldwide thanks to its touching story: three women from very different circumstances around the world find their lives intertwined by a single object and discover what connects us—across cultures, across backgrounds, and across borders.
The Princeton French Film Festival will be April 12-26. Tickets are free, but registration is required.
