The Pulitzer Prize-winning author discusses "Whereabouts: A Novel," her first novel in nearly a decade. She will be joined by Giammei, a scholar and assistant professor of Italian at Bryn Mawr.
"Whereabouts," written in Italian and translated by Lahiri, follows a woman questioning her place in the world, wavering between stasis and movement, between the need to belong and the refusal to form lasting ties.
Tickets for this event are $28 and include a signed copy of "Whereabouts." Part of the proceeds support the library.
