Readings by nine distinguished poets from the U.S. and around the world will be streamed during April as part of National Poetry Month. Presented in collaboration with the Princeton Festival.

The International Poetry Readings for this series all address the topic of “Love and Loss.” The poems will be read in their original languages with English subtitles, accompanied by imagery from the poets’ native countries.

Today's poet, Mariela Cordero, is also a writer, translator and visual artist. Among her awards:  Second Prize for Poetry, Concorso Letterario Internazionale Bilingüe Tracceperlameta Edizioni, Italy (2015);  First Prize in the II Iberoamerican Poetry Contest Euler Granda, Ecuador (2015) First Place in International Poetry Contest #AniversarioPoetasHispanos (2016).
