Rutgers University creative writing instructor Alex Dawson hosts a candid conversation with Kylie Reid, author of "Such a Fun Age," in this ongoing series.
"Inside the Writers House" invites you into the homes, offices, and writing rooms of acclaimed authors, providing an inside eye on their working life and a level of intimacy often lacking in more formal settings. Interviews are craft-focused but feature spontaneous conversation largely molded by audience questions. In addition to the conversation, sessions may also include short readings, writing prompts and more.
About the Author: An Arizona native, Kiley Reid is a recent graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was the recipient of the Truman Capote Fellowship. Her New York Times-bestselling debut novel, Such a Fun Age, is currently in development by Lena Waithe’s Hillman Grad Productions and Sight Unseen Pictures.
