Artist Andre Veloux opens the doors to his Princeton studio in for this National Library Week event. See the space where Veloux creates art, made exclusively from Lego bricks, that includes portraits of feminist icons such as Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Lady Gaga and many others.
Following the tour, Veloux will talk about his outreach to encourage children to use Lego to create their own art. He has set up a special Kids Art page that includes a gallery of work submitted by kids and a set of templates to encourage their creativity.
Veloux will be joined by his daughter and together they will demonstrate how to complete a project or two from the templates on his site.
